Brief History
UP Kirana Seva Samiti Vidyalaya, Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur, founded in the year 1977 is the embodiment of hard work & conviction of the multitudinous philanthropists of UP Kirana Seva Samiti forwarded by the prestigious group of Kirana Merchants of Kanpur with the motto ‘Seva Parmo Dharma’. The Samiti established charitable dispensaries, hospitals, welfare organizations and educational institutions With the vision of ‘Educate, enlighten and empowerment’ UP Kirana Seva Samiti laid the foundation of the school, a co-educational institution, which is constantly implanting quality education to the masses at an affordable cost. The school is affiliated to CISCE, New Delhi in the year 1990 & was upgraded to ISC (class XII) in the year 1993.
Lush green peaceful ambience of adjacent ‘Sanjay Van’ amplifies and inveterate the learning environment in the school campus. In addition to the many facilities that are associated with school, the school offers a variety of ‘choices’ in subjects for study. (UPKSSV is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and students are well prepared to write ICSE and ISC Examinations).
